Year 8 History students have been studying WWI, in particular the Western Front, and the diversity of soldiers’ experiences there. For their assessment, they were encouraged to create digital presentations or models, and talk to their peers about them.
Here you can see a slideshow of photographs of their models. In completing them, they used skills from Technology and Art, whereby students make decisions regarding choice of materials and solving construction problems.
There are also two films which show a great deal of ICT skill and ingenuity in one case, and some interesting research regarding Belgian resistance in the other.
