Industrial Action – 1 October 2013
Further to the Chair of Governors’ letter dated 20 September 2013, I write to inform you that, following discussions with NASUWT and NUT Union Representatives, a decision has been made to close the school to all students on 1 October 2013.
As stated previously, the main concern is for student safety and as this cannot be guaranteed on the day of industrial action, it is not safe for the school to remain open to students.
In order to minimise disruption to those students in exam classes, they are encouraged to use the day productively in terms of revision, research and planning.
