Dear Parent
Following direction from the Department for Education, Headteachers will not be allowed to authorise term-time holidays, however, Headteachers do still have discretionary power to authorise absence in exceptional circumstances. This can only be done if the request is accompanied by supporting documents.

There will be a new Absence from School Request Form, which will come into effect after half-term, which will be available from the School Office as well as on the website.
