Big money raised by the BGS Brass Group

Students from the Brass Group braved cold weather on the last day of the winter term to busk in Beverley town centre for charity. They played a range of carols which shoppers clearly enjoyed, as the boys raised a jaw-dropping £285 in one hour! This equates to £4.75 per minute – a tremendous achievement. This money has been donated to Shelter, and will make a big difference to those who suffer homelessness. Congratulations and thanks to those involved, including Mr Cranmer, Mrs Turner and the Brass Group!
