Students from BGS recently took part in some exciting footballing action in Driffield.
It is an achievement in itself to get 3 year groups (9, 10 & U18) all through to the final of the East Riding Cup. We obviously have an abundance of footballing talent within our school!
After a great night, Year 9 and Year 10 were both victorious. Year 9 beat South Hunsley 7-1 and year 10 beat Hessle 4-2 in extra time. Both cups are proudly on display in the PE Dept.
Sadly, the U18’s lost on penalties after a 0-0 stalemate, even after extra time! A long night for all involved as we didn’t get back to school until 7:45pm (violins at the ready!)
