A group of year 10 students have formed a co-operative in the Technology department called ECOWORKS. To date they have been designing and making good quality bird boxes.
As of January, £70 had already been donated to the charity Help for Heroes from the sale of the bird boxes.
The group have now expanded their range to feature wellington boot stands and hedgehog houses, in the hope of raising even more money for this good cause.
