Students attend inaugural engineering careers event

A number of students from Y10 and Y11 were fortunate to be able to attend the first East Riding Digital and Engineering Society event on Tuesday 29th November.

This event gave students the chance to work with a wide range of employers and providers to help them make the right choices for their future. Students took part in interactive workshops with leading local companies within the Engineering, Manufacturing, Chemical, Medical and Digital industries.

Many thanks to the staff of the training providers and companies that enabled the students to have this experience.

  • Designing the most efficient wind turbine
  • Trying to rebuild broken bones
