BGS students collaborate with primaries for concert

Year 7 ambassadors and year 9/10 music mentors are rehearsing with Walkington students for their upcoming performance at Beverley Minster entitled, Of Shoes and Ships and Sealing Wax.

26 BGS students are working with year 4s and 5s from Keldmarsh, Walkington and St Nicholas’ primaries as well as Cathy Dew (musical director), Merit Ariane Stephanos (composer), Masumi Yamamoto (harpsichordist) and the Castello Consort, to create a musical extravaganza which tells the story of the illuminator and royal spy, Petrus Alamire.

The performance is on Friday 26th May at 2pm in Beverley Minster.
