MFL stars compete in regional finals

Well done to Jacob Parkinson and James Manson who represented the school in the Foreign Languages Spelling Bee Regional Final in Bradford on 2nd May. They did a fantastic job getting from over 54000 students down to the last 54.

A huge well done also to all students who competed in the Beverley Grammar School Foreign Languages Translation Bee in March, overcoming their nerves to correctly translate as many phrases as possible from English into either French or German. All done in one minute in front of a live audience. The following students in Years 8 and 9 are the winners of the school round. These students are now eligible to compete in the regional finals of this annual competition which takes place on 6th June 2017 at Sheffield Hallam University. Good luck with your preparations!
