To better understand the revolutionary nature of the Industrial Revolution, Year 8 went back to basics with Miss Parker.
It is with great pleasure that the Governors can announce the appointment of Mr Grahame Hodson to the role of Headteacher from September 2011, following the retirement of Mr Chris Goodwin.
Mrs Sikora’s Year 7s have been using their knowledge of life in the Middle Ages, and the idea of audience and purpose to produce imaginative (and playable too!) boardgames to demonstrate their understanding.
Year 10 students have been using their IT skills to illustrate and present information from their course on Russia 1905-1941.
Mr Morgan and Mr Cutler’s Year 9 students were tasked with using online resources to create original pieces of work on the subject of the Holocaust, and one of its survivors. The students produced excellent pieces of work, and some of the videos they created can be viewed here.
