All students in Year 7 and Year 8 were treated to a performance by the band ‘EverYoung’ on Thursday 25th October. The London-based band that trained at Sylvia Young’s famous Theatre School performed a selection of covers as well as their new single, ‘Warrior’.
Seventeen students competed for the title of ‘Young Musician of the Year 12’ on Tuesday evening. The competition was split into two age categories, with Junior competitors from years 7 to 9, and Senior competitors from year 10 to sixth form. Click here to find out who won!
During the Olympics cross curricular week in July groups of students worked on one project which required them using research skills and banks of image and music resources to produce a short film on the Olympics.
We are delighted to announce the inclusion of works of art from our students in the 62nd Haltemprice Art & Craft Exhibition. The event is running at the moment at the Civic Hall in Cottingham until Monday 22nd October.
