Y13 transition

We would like to congratulate all Year 13 students on their hard work and commitment during this extremely difficult period.

We are writing to provide information on the support that will be available in school for Year 13 students from Monday 7th June. Students will no longer be required to attend school for regular lessons but the following support and resources are available to students:

In school pastoral support

The J6th team are available to support students and would be pleased to hear from any Year 13 student. Please contact Sam Wright (s.wright@beverleyj6.co.uk ) and Amanda Cooper (a.cooper@beverleyj6.co.uk) in the first instance.

In school careers guidance, university and apprenticeship support

We are very happy to arrange a careers appointment with our careers advisers. Please contact Sam Wright and Amanda Cooperin order to arrange an appointment. Please contact any member of the J6th team if you have any questions at all about your future steps.

UCAS and accepting offers

Many of you have already chosen your first and insurance choice universities. If you have not yet and have received all your offers then you need to make your firm and insurance choices no later than 10th June. If you do not then the offers are automatically withdrawn and you are placed in clearing. If you need any advice please contact a member of the J6 team.

Preparation for the next stages of education and employment

Students who are planning to continue their education in the Autumn at University are encouraged to contact their first choice universities for further guidance. Many university faculties will have reading lists available for future students.
We would also suggest exploring the following section of our website which has detailed information on how to further explore academic subjects:

We wish you all the best for the future.
