Year 8 students have been studying the Zulu War and in particular the Battles of Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift and how the latter has been depicted in the film Zulu. This involves working on the historical skill of analysing interpretations. To support this Mrs Comfort-Sikora wrote an excellent news report, which was read by her husband Andy Comfort of BBC Radio Humberside as if they were taking place today. Students then either synchronised a number of images made available to them to the news commentary using movie maker software or wrote their own supported with the images.
