Year 6 Virtual Open Evening – For September 2022 Entry
In order to help you decide which secondary school you would like your child to attend in September 2022, Beverley Grammar School is holding a Virtual Open Evening to which you and your child are warmly invited on:
Wednesday 22 September 2021 at 6pm
The online event starts at 6.00pm and will include presentations from Mr Chappell (Headteacher), Mr Vickerman (Deputy Headteacher), and Mrs Elgey (Head of Year 7).
To receive the access code to the event, please complete the booking form using the link below. The link to the online meeting will be emailed to you on the morning of the event.
Year 6 Visits to Beverley Grammar School
In addition to the online meeting, we are offering you and your child the opportunity to visit the school. Unfortunately, due to the latest advice from PHE, we are unable to offer an ‘open invite’ and therefore we have allocated a half-hour period of time on a specified date for tours which must be booked in advance.
If your child attends one of the following schools, you do not need to book and should have received your school’s allocated tour information directly from them. Please contact them directly if you haven’t received this: Beverley Minster, Beverley St. Nicholas, Cherry Burton, Keldmarsh, Molescroft Primary, Leconfield, Walkington, Tickton, Woodmansey, St John’s Beverley, St Mary’s Beverley, Swinemoor and Wawne.
Please book your place on the tour by completing the booking form using the link above. The date and time of the pre-booked ‘open slot’ for students who do not attend any of the above-named schools is:
Monday 4 October 2021 at 5pm
When attending Beverley Grammar School, please park on the roads surrounding the school as we have very limited parking on-site, arriving no more than five minutes prior to the tour – we will meet you in the Main Hall.
Applications for secondary school places can be made to the Local Authority either online or by completing a paper copy. The deadline for applications to be submitted is 31 October 2021. Applications can be made online at www.eastriding.gov.uk/apply-
