All Quiet on the Western Front?

Year 8 History students have been studying WWI, in particular the Western Front, and the diversity of soldiers’ experiences there. For their assessment, they were encouraged to create digital presentations or models, and talk to their peers about them. See some of their work here.

Creative History revision

During their history GCSE, students are encouraged to be creative in terms of the idea of audience and purpose, and producing resources which they and others can revise with. Kindertransport refugee visits BGS

On Monday February 18th, Holocaust survivor Ruth Barnett visited Beverley Grammar School to give a talk about her experiences to Year 9 and some sixth form history students.
