BGS took 3 teams to the East Riding Cross Country Championships; in windy conditions the Year 7 team started strongly, finishing in 8th, with good running from Olly A, Tom S, Olly E, Will D, Louis H, Josh H, Charlie H, Louie R and Lexi R.
The Year 8/9 team ran excellently, finishing second overall, the students involved were Owen A, Finn W, Harry H, Ted M, Sam H, Drew M, Will B, Adam P and Taylor G.
The Year 10 team, running a year above themselves, smashed the competition, finishing first. The team was Graeme A, Archie S, Jake C, Joe A, Jonny D, Ged K and James M.
Many of the boys will now be competing for East Yorkshire later this year.
