DAVID ALMOND is one of Britain’s most accomplished authors. His work is aimed specifically at young teenagers and children but his work is enjoyed by readers of all ages.
His most famous novel, SKELLIG, which was published in 1998, is considered to be a classic work of children’s fiction and has been adapted for stage and film.
In June 2015 David Almond spoke to students at Beverley Grammar School, a boys’ comprehensive school in East Yorkshire, and it was during this visit that David shared the views that form the heart of this short documentary.
