KS4 boys take part in interactive workshops with leading local companies
BGS & BHS students had the opportunity to speak to companies and providers about the next stages of their careers and education.
In October, Year 11 students visited the “Your Future” careers event at the KCom stadium.
Year 10 students had the opportunity to visit the construction of part of the new Siemens site in Hull.
In March, every year 11 student had a practice job interview with an employer from our local community.
In February a group of our Year 11 students visited Bishop Burton college for an apprenticeship showcase.
In December, students visited Nottingham University’s Med-link conference to discover how to train to become a doctor.
On Thu 19th November, all Y9 students attended a event at East Riding college, which was designed to raise students awareness of the opportunities available in STEM careers in the local area and the benefits of working in a STEM related field.
